CANCER AWARENESS: Oncology Departments
*Chemo Caps: Crochet or Knit
*Lap-Quilts: 36”x45”
*Mug Rugs: Approximately 7”x12”, or anywhere in-between
PATRIOTIC AWARENESS:
*Mug Rugs: Approximately 7”x12”, or anywhere in-between
*Patriotic Pillowcases: Used as Presentation “Quilt Case” for QOV
*Placemats: Approximately 13”x18”, or anywhere in-between
*Quilts: Any size ~EXCEPT~ Quilts of Valor (QOV)
*QOV: Preferred minimum size 60”x80”; maximum size 55”x 65;
100%cotton is preferred. Patriotic fabric themes are
encouraged, but not mandatory
*Walker & *Wheelchair Organizers
*Wheelchair Quilts: 36”x45”
PEDIATRIC / JUVENILE AWARENESS:
*Bereavement Wraps
*Comfort Bags: Used by Fire & Police Departments
*Kids Surgical Kaps
*Mother’s Hearts: Used for preemies in neonatal
*Preemie Beanies: Crochet or Knit
Christian Adoption Agency:
*Baby Quilts: Any size ~PLUS~ *Sample Block
from the Quilt, given to the birth mother
Nash Hospital Nursery:
*Any size Quilts: Used to send the babies home in.
They will also accept smaller blankets that are
crochet or knit. They can always find someone who has a need.
Vidant Hospital:
*Isolette Covers: No larger than 36” x 36”
In addition to these projects, the TRPQG is occasionally asked, as a whole, to donate
special projects to Senior Living Facilities; Natural Disaster Emergency Relief, inside & outside our local communities; & Special Holiday or showcase events.
